Bread making recipe for Eight Grain and Cotswold Crunch
Add all the following ingredients to the bread pan of your bread machine.
- 475g Matthews Eight Grain Flour
- 340 ml water
- 25g butter, cooking oil or milk
- 1 1/4 teaspoon (1 sachet) dried yeast
- 1 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 level teaspoon improver (optional)
For Panasonic bread making machine – set timer to 5 hours, loaf size to large and crust to medium. If your bread maker doesn’t go up to 5hrs, put it on wholemeal settings.
For white flour change the water amount to 320ml, without the improver and down to 4hrs.
