FWP Matthews Ltd is one of the leading independent millers in the UK for conventional and organic flour. The mill is owned and run by Paul and Graham Matthews, the great, great grandsons of the original founder, Frederick Matthews.
 
Situated on the edge of the beautiful Cotswold hills in the village of Shipton under Wychwood since 1912, this traditional mill produces a wide range of quality organic and conventional flours. We still use the original building (see above and side) that was completed in 1912.  We aim to source as much wheat locally as possible and then carefully blend with other wheats to produce flour of the highest quality.

New equipment means that modern techniques are combined with traditional values. Our premium flours and our personal service make us the first choice for a wide range of customers including leading household names in the food industry, domestic houshold users as well as craft and artisan bakeries.
 
We are ISO 9001:2000 accredited by Lloyds Register of Quality Assurance and certified by the Soil Association, as well as a member of the National Association of Master Bakers.

In addition to the range of Cotswold flours we also offer a wide ranges of premium French, Danish and Polish flours.
 
We deliver nationwide in our own liveried lorries (see opposite) in pack sizes from 1kg through to 25 tonne tankers. Contact us for more details.
