Thanks so much for taking the time to answer these questions for our Baking Club:
How and when did your love for baking begin?
I have loved baking since a young age, particularly because I have a seriously sweet tooth!
What’s your favourite thing to bake?
I love baking brownies, they are simple yet so delicious, and they can be baked just how you like them, fudgy or cakey.
Where do you get your inspiration from for your food styling?
A lot of my inspiration for food photography and styling comes from other Instagram accounts, I spend lots of time looking through hashtags and my feed, saving images I love, and using them as inspiration for my own shoots.
Do you have a preferred flour to bake with?
It’s so boring but I just love plain flour, so versatile and you can bake so many different things with it.
Is there anything you haven’t made yet that you want to try?
I really want to make tiger bread rolls but bread isn’t my forte so I’m waiting for the right moment.
What are your must use baking tools in the kitchen?
It’s got to be my mixer and it’s attachments for anything and everything.
What advice would you give to someone who is just starting baking?
Don’t be disheartened if your first few bakes go terribly, baking is a constant learning process – well it is for me anyway!
