    I don’t use much white flour for the family but I do sometimes use a little of this mixed with Cotswold Crunch to give a bigger rise in my sourdough loaves. I do however use the white to bake sourdough for my elderly neighbour and he loves it especially spread thickly with marmalade. Another great flour that gives you consistently good results. It produces great freeform sourdough that holds it’s shape and has a great oven spring.

    Matthews flour gives me consistent results and very good flavour and texture. I use more of this white flour as I also use it with Cotswold Crunch when I’m making brown rolls. I started buying Matthews flour from my local Waitrose as living in the Cotswolds I was keen to buy local produce and was disappointed when they stopped selling it. So I am now very pleased to be able to buy it direct and getting free delivery with packs of 5 makes it well worthwhile.

    Superb. Thought I’d give bread making another try with this flour. I’ve never had much success in the past. Made whilst cooking Sunday lunch, by hand using mixer with dough hooks, 1 large loaf and 2 tiny ones for grandchildren following your recipe.So easy, hassle free. The only problem is that it was too popular (‘the best bread ever’!) and had to make some more yesterday.

    Have used Matthews’ Cotswold Crunch (both Organic and standard) and Eight Grain for years with first class results so when I decided it was time to give my sourdough an upgrade I thought I would give the Organic White a try. So far I have made three loaves and they have risen well on a slow prove and I am very pleased with the overall appearance and taste. I would have added a picture as visual proof but at the moment there is not that facility. It’s definitely 5* from me!

    I am baking sourdough bread , above 2 years nonstop using this flour . I used other brands but my sourdough starter likes Organic White Flour. My bread always come out perfect and flavourful. Thanks you for such an amazing product 🙂
