1. 40g melted butter 
  2. 125g Cotswold plain flour
  3. 20g caster sugar 
  4. 300g whole milk 
  5. 2 large eggs 
  6. vanilla extract 


  1. Melt the butter and leave to cool.
  2. Place flour and caster sugar in a large bowl 
  3. Pour in the milk and eggs to the dry ingredients 
  4. Add the cool melted butter and whisk until smooth 
  5. Leave the mixture to rest for 30-60 minutes in the fridge
  6. Cook in a large flat pan, over a medium heat. 
  7. Serve with chantilly and berries, lemon and sugar
