Festive Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients (for 10 cookies)

  1. 130g Stork
  2. 75g dark brown sugar
  3. 75g white sugar
  4. 1 small ripe mashed banana (mine was 110g)
  5. 1tsp vanilla extract
  6. 190g self raising flour
  7. 50g cocoa powder
  8. 20g cornflour (leave it out if you don’t have it)
  9. 0.25tsp bicarbonate of soda
  10. 120g chopped white chocolate/choc chips
  11. 100g colourful chocolate (e.g. Smarties or M&Ms)

Method

  1. Mix together the Stork and sugars
  2. Mix in the mashed banana and vanilla extract
  3. Mix in the self raising flour, cocoa powder, cornflour and bicarbonate of soda
  4. Mix in the chopped white chocolate
  5. Preheat your oven to 160C (fan)
  6. Scoop out 10 even portions and roll them into balls (I weigh mine for evenness!) and press the colourful chocolate into the balls
  7. Space the balls out on 2 lined baking sheets and bake for 14 mins
  8. Leave to cool (they’ll be very soft when you take them out but they’ll harden as they cool)
